Supreme x New York Yankees drop Fall 2022 collab

Bringing together the best of streetwear and varsity style, Supreme are once again teaming up with iconic baseball team the New York Yankees to bring us another season of fire outerwear fits as we approach the winter months. The drop follows on from their inaugural Fall 2021 collection, which focussed on the pair’s similar roots in the city and relationship with its street style.

This year’s collab leads with a celebration of the 90s leather varsity jacket. Stamped with Supreme’s unique look, the jackets come in three colour options and colourful embroidery that marks Yankees’ distinctive branding. While channelling nineties and noughties nostalgia, the line is serving something fresh: each piece is decorated with bold Chinese lettering and fun leather patchwork detailing. While the collection primarily works with neutrals and earth-tones, it wouldn’t be a Supreme project without featuring their iconic electric orange, which (as ever) does not disappoint.

The jackets are accompanied by a hooded sweatshirt and a sweatpant set in three different colourways, and is rounded off with a classic NY Yankees New Era cap. Exclusive to Supreme, it seems the brands have built quite the relationship: only last winter the pair teamed up with footwear giant Timberland to bring a unique version of the classic Field Boot. It can only be assumed this is just one of many future link-ups, and for our sake, we hope so!

The global release of the Fall campaign comes on November 10, while dropping in Japan on November 12.
