Created by West End performers Ed Currie and Andy Coxon in 2015, AKT was made to do what no mainstream deodorant could: meet the demands of their gruelling schedules while dancing in eight shows a week under hot lights, while also meeting the highest environmental, ethical and organic standards. 
 
AKT’s packaging is made for modern living: their tubes are made of portable, durable and recyclable aluminium, fit with bespoke aluminium caps (where most packaging still opts for plastic) to make their products entirely recyclable and stop more plastic from entering the environment. 
 
Made and packaged entirely in the UK, Currie and Coxon tested their product on their toughest audience: the hardest-working West End performers they knew. Their response was overwhelmingly positive, and, after three years spent researching and collaborating with leading experts in the world of natural cosmetics and fragrance, AKT deodorant balms were born: highly efficient, plastic-free, all-natural and all-gender deodorants created with the help of its community.
