Founded by New Zealand-born Micaela Nisbet who traded her job on the road as a sound engineer for the world of natural skincare, Neighbourhood Botanicals is a carbon-negative beauty brand creating refillable, vegan &amp; cruelty-free products. 
 
Born and made from the mind and hands of its founder (as opposed to popular brands that buy the formula off the shelf and repackage it), Neighbourhood Botanicals’ formulations are made with cold-pressed plant oils and natural ingredients, and shipped from the London neighbourhood of Leyton. 
 
Micaela grew up on the idyllic beaches of Australia and New Zealand, and was inspired to start her brand after travel, late nights, partying and stress made her skin dull and lacklustre. She began blending her own face oils and studied Organic Skincare Formulation between touring for her job. 
 
As a small company, sustainability is at the core of Neighbourhood Botanicals, from refillable products to packaging that’s made out of glass, aluminium, and 100% PCR (post-consumer recycled waste) plastic.
