SYLK began in 2016 as a hand-curated range of vintage designer clothing with a focus on timeless, classic, minimal design. Starting out selling from their small London bedrooms, SYLK’s founders eventually moved back to their hometown, Manchester, where their physical boutique is now based. Sustainability is at the heart of their business. They provide excellently tailored and timelessly elegant pieces that are curated for buyers with longevity in mind. Their stock is hand-sourced as locally as possible, with the majority found in Manchester, and all packaging is biodegradable. SYLK’s stock is unisex and they are an LGBTQIA+ friendly space – both physically and online – where everyone is made to feel safe and catered for. 
 
Should you find yourself in Manchester, they also offer personalised studio appointments at no cost or minimum spend - and, if you let them know of a specific item you’re looking for in advance, they can begin to source it for you. For now, though, shop their curated selection here on woo.
