Woo aims to engage with Gen Z (and Gen Y) with their passion points: music, fashion, activism and culture but through a wellness lens. We take un-conventional practices that are designed to improve the human experiences, align them with cultural icons and deliver it in a way that feels accessible, relatable and desirable. Think documentaries, reality series, and endorphins releasing videos, audio and beyond.

THE ROLE

The Marketing Manager reports into the Head of Media and Brand and plays a key role in ensuring our content and message reaches our audience across digital and physical touchpoints.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • To assist with the development of the marketing strategy for the woo brand - that ensures we’re growing our audience, driving our cultural relevance and increasing sales.
  • Ensure all marketing and communications speak to our brand purpose, delivers a ‘feel good’ message, engages and grows our audience, encourages advocacy and supports commercial objectives.
  • Ownership of the woo business marketing calendar; ensuring all consumer-facing activities are recorded on the document and all departments are utilising it when planning content + activating it.
  • To lead the always-on ‘Marketing & Business Objectives’ meetings, which will happen monthly and will consolidate the key focus areas for the business, such as key categories, brands, products, promotions, video series, social activations and editorial.
  • To have an ‘always on’ competitor review process identifying how other marketplaces are operating and speaking to their customers (e.g. advertising, propositions, promos, etc).
  • To help with creating and implementing key processes and work streams that will translate marketplace’s ambitions and trading KPIs into marketing activity (from emails to paid social) and media content (from editorial to video series).
  • To develop and activate brand campaigns (across multiple channels) for both the marketplace and media brand; ensuring woo is continuing to innovate, is speaking to more young people and significantly driving revenue growth.
  • To use data and analytics to assess how effective the strategies are working and to inform business decisions and budget recommendations.
  • To provide honest feedback on how things are performing, to look out for improvements across the business and incorporate new ways-of-working when required.
  • To manage the ‘shop’ homepage ensuring that we incorporate key elements of the business: excellent products and brands, content and signposting to categories.
  • To drive relationships with external talent at Woo across talent agencies, music labels and movie studios and manage talent-led content activations.

To be considered for this opportunity you will need to demonstrate the following skills:

MINIMUM CRITERIA

  • Demonstrable Digital Marketing experience.
  • Strong project management ability.
  • Experience in creating compelling marketing campaigns and writing strong creative briefs.
  • Internal stakeholder management.

  • Cultural relevance: ensures everything that we do is super targeted to the Gen Z market, emphasising our credibility and creating sales.
